New space composes of a tasting room, where visitors can enjoy guided tours along with wine and tastings of regional products

Adega de Palmela is committed to wine tourism and invites you to discover the history and production process of its distinguished wines through the restructured space for the dynamics of the barrel cellar, comprising a tasting room where visitors can enjoy guided tours, wine tasting and tasting of regional products.
The wine tourism program at Adega de Palmela consists of different modalities:
· Guided tour with tasting of three wines (€5.00)
· Guided tour with tasting of three wines and tasting of regional products (10.00€)
· Premium wines (+2.00€)

In order to promote the Setúbal Peninsula Wine Route, Adega de Palmela intends to provide guided tours, showing the winemaking process from the reception of the grape to the final product, passing through the filling line, store and ending in the barrels cellar. barrels that will serve as a stage for the tasting.

Adega de Palmela, a wine brand from the Setúbal Peninsula, plays a worthy and active role in the region, maintaining an affective and emotional connection in support of agricultural and wine production. Adega de Palmela Premium Reserve Red 2017, Adega de Palmela Grand Reserve 2017, Vale dos Barris Syrah Premium Reserve 2019, Villa Palma Reserve Red 2019 received gold awards

Adega de Palmela has just received Gold and Silver medals in international competitions. This time, the distinctions were awarded by the British London Wine Competition, the Challenge International du Vin Competition and the Lyon International competition, which that took place in France.
In the London Wine Competition, the international wine competition that evaluates according to quality, value and packaging, three wines were distinguished with the Gold medal: Adega de Palmela Premium Reserve Red 2017, Adega de Palmela Grand Reserve 2017 and Vale dos Barris Syrah Premium Reserve 2019. In this edition, the wines awarded with Silver medals were Vale de Touros Vinhas Velhas Reserve Red 2017 and Adega de Palmela Premium Reserve White 2019.
In the Challenge International du Vin Contest, which is distinguished for being the oldest wine contest in France, Villa Palma Reserve Red 2019 won a Gold med.
Evaluated in the contest that takes place in the French capital, Contest International of Lyon, known as the capital of gastronomy, the wines Palma Red 2020 and Villa Palma Reserve Red 2019 won Silver medals.

The 10-year-old Moscatel de Setúbal once again receives Grand Gold medals in international competitions, reinforcing its quality and contribution to the prestige of Portuguese products from the Setúbal Peninsula region.

In 2021, Adega de Palmela won more than 70 medals in national and international wine competitions, maintaining the objective of raising the brand name and the quality of Portuguese products.

Adega de Palmela renewed, in February and March, new distinctions with the attribution of Great Gold, Gold and Silver medals in the Mundus Vini Spring Tasting Contest and in the Berliner Wein Trophy Contest, which took place in Germany.

In the Mundus Vini Spring Tasting Competition, one of the most renowned international competitions in Europe, which aims to promote the quality and commercialization of wines, the Adega de Palmela Moscatel de Setúbal 10 years won the Great Gold medal, the Adega de Palmela Moscatel de Setúbal 2019 won the Gold Medal and Silver Medal winners include Villa Palma Reserve Red 2019, Vale dos Barris Syrah Premium Reserve 2019 and Palma Red 2020 wines.

In the Berliner Wein Trophy Competition, which is distinguished among the most prestigious competitions in Germany, the Adega de Palmela Moscatel de Setúbal 10 years won the Grand Gold medal and the Vale dos Barris Syrah Premium Reserve 2019 was awarded the Gold medal.

In the Top 30 of the Best of the Year and awarded with the Good seal, with a rating of 14.5, the Palma Red wine 2020 from Adega de Palmela was recognized by the connoisseurs and readers of Magazine Passion for Wine, which celebrated the best wines in Portugal

The recognition given to Palma Red 2020 wine reflects the quality and credibility of Adega de Palmela, which continues to add value and contribute to the prestige of products from the Setúbal Peninsula Region.

As a representative of Adega de Palmela, Palma Red 2020 was tested among more than 200 references from award-winning producers from various regions of the country. In order to recognize the quality of the wines produced in Portugal, the distinction made by the program, which had the participation of winemakers and connoisseurs, reinforces the quality of the wine production at Adega de Palmela.

Adega de Palmela was present at the international congress, in Holland, which included wine producers, importers and distributors. The EMW Meet the Buyer Amsterdam stands out for bringing together producers and buyers from 20 countries for each category in an event, allowing direct contact focused on sales and networking.

Focused on the border export trade, EMW Meet the Buyer Amsterdam developed a new business concept by holding events for the various categories, such as Wines & Spirits, Sweets & Snacks, Frozen & Fresh and Health & Beauty, where it brings together buyers and producers of several countries to do business.
